🤝 "서로 사랑하라" - 예수님의 새 계명
"내가 너희를 사랑한 것처럼 서로 사랑하여라" (요한 13,34)
이 말씀, 사실 엄청난 의미를 담고 있어요.
예수님은 그냥 "사랑해라"가 아니라 **"내가 너희를 사랑한 것처럼"**이라고 하셨죠. 예수님은 어떻게 사랑하셨나요? 십자가에서 목숨까지 내어주시며 우리를 사랑하셨어요. 심지어 자신을 못 박은 사람들을 위해 "저들을 용서해 주십시오"라고 기도하셨죠.
💭 우리의 일상 속에서
여러분도 이런 경험 있지 않나요?
- 친구가 나를 오해해서 상처 줬을 때
- SNS에서 악플을 받았을 때
- 가족이 내 마음을 몰라줄 때
이럴 때 "사랑하라"는 말씀이 참 어렵게 느껴져요. 솔직히 저도 그래요.
하지만 예수님은 우리에게 불가능한 걸 요구하신 게 아니에요. **"내가 먼저 너희를 사랑했듯이"**라는 말씀이 핵심이에요. 우리가 완벽하지 않을 때, 부족할 때, 심지어 하느님을 외면할 때도 하느님은 우리를 먼저 사랑하셨어요.
그 사랑을 받은 사람이, 이제 다른 사람에게 흘려보내는 거예요. 마치 촛불이 다른 촛불에 불을 옮기듯이요. 🕯️
🙏 "모든 일에 감사하라"
"모든 일에 감사하십시오. 이것이 그리스도 예수님 안에서 살아가는 여러분을 향하신 하느님의 뜻입니다" (1데살 5,18)
**"모든 일에"**라는 표현, 조금 과한 거 아닌가 싶죠? 😅
시험 망쳤는데 감사? 친구랑 싸웠는데 감사? 아플 때도 감사?
이 말씀의 의미는 "나쁜 일이 좋다"는 게 아니에요. 오히려 **"모든 순간에 하느님이 함께하신다"**는 믿음이에요.
🌱 37년의 신앙 여정에서 배운 것
제가 성당에서 오랜 시간 생활하면서 깨달은 게 있어요.
가장 힘들었던 순간들이, 나중에 돌아보면 제가 가장 많이 성장한 시간이었다는 거예요. 그 순간엔 왜 이런 일이 일어나는지 몰랐지만, 시간이 지나고 보니 하느님이 저를 더 깊은 곳으로 인도하고 계셨더라고요.
"감사"는 현재를 받아들이는 힘이에요.
- 좋은 일엔 기쁨으로 감사하고
- 힘든 일엔 "이것도 지나가리라"는 희망으로 감사하는 거죠
감사는 우리 마음을 원망과 불평에서 자유롭게 해줘요. ✨
🛤️ "나는 길이요 진리요 생명이다"
"나는 길이요 진리요 생명이다. 나를 통하지 않고서는 아무도 아버지께 갈 수 없다" (요한 14,6)
이 말씀, 처음 들으면 좀 배타적으로 들릴 수 있어요. "예수님 아니면 안 된다고?"
하지만 다르게 생각해볼까요?
예수님은 **"나라는 종교 조직"**이 아니라 **"나의 삶의 방식"**을 말씀하신 거예요.
🗺️ 길, 진리, 생명의 의미
길(道): 예수님이 걸으신 사랑과 희생의 길
진리(Truth): 거짓과 가식이 없는 진실한 삶
생명(Life): 죽음 너머를 보는 영원한 생명
예수님은 이론이 아니라 삶으로 보여주신 분이에요.
가난한 사람, 병든 사람, 죄인이라 불린 사람들과 함께 식사하시고, 권력자들의 위선을 지적하시고, 결국 우리를 위해 십자가를 지셨죠.
"나를 통하지 않고서는"라는 말씀은 **"이런 사랑의 길이 아니면 진정한 하느님을 만날 수 없다"**는 의미예요.
💫 세 말씀이 하나로 연결될 때
이제 이 세 가지가 어떻게 연결되는지 보이시나요?
- 예수님이 보여주신 길 (길, 진리, 생명)을 따라
- 서로 사랑하며 (새 계명)
- 모든 순간 감사하는 (감사) 삶
이것이 바로 그리스도인의 삶이에요. 🌟

사랑하는 친구들,
이 말씀들이 여러분을 억압하는 무거운 짐이 아니라, 자유롭게 하는 날개가 되길 바라요.
- 사랑은 의무가 아니라 선물이에요
- 감사는 억지가 아니라 눈을 뜨게 하는 힘이에요
- 예수님의 길은 좁은 규칙이 아니라 넓은 품이에요
오늘 하루, 작은 것부터 시작해봐요:

✨ 작은 일에 "감사합니다" 한마디
✨ 예수님이라면 어떻게 하셨을까? 한 번만 물어보기
여러분은 이미 소중하고, 사랑받는 존재예요. 💙
하느님은 여러분이 완벽해지길 기다리지 않으세요. 지금 이 모습 그대로 여러분을 사랑하시고, 함께 걸어가고 계세요.
"우리가 사랑하는 것은 그분께서 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨기 때문입니다" (1요한 4,19)
이 말씀을 기억하며, 오늘도 사랑으로 채워진 하루 보내길 응원할게요! 🙏✨

🤝 "Love One Another" - Jesus' New Commandment
"Love one another as I have loved you" (John 13:34)
These words actually contain tremendous meaning.
Jesus didn't just say "love," but "as I have loved you." How did Jesus love us? He loved us by giving up His life on the cross. He even prayed for those who crucified Him, saying "Father, forgive them."
💭 In Our Daily Lives
Have you ever experienced this?
When a friend misunderstood and hurt you
When you received hateful comments on social media
When your family didn't understand your heart
At times like these, the command to "love" feels really difficult. Honestly, I feel that way too.
But Jesus didn't ask us to do the impossible. "As I have first loved you" is the key phrase. When we weren't perfect, when we were lacking, even when we turned away from God, God loved us first.
Those who have received that love now pass it on to others. Like one candle lighting another candle. 🕯️
🙏 "Give Thanks in All Circumstances"
"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
"In all circumstances"—doesn't that seem a bit excessive? 😅
Give thanks when I failed an exam? Give thanks when I fought with a friend? Give thanks even when I'm sick?
The meaning of this verse isn't that "bad things are good." Rather, it's the faith that "God is with us in every moment."
🌱 What I Learned from 37 Years of Faith Journey
There's something I realized during my long time living in the Church.
The most difficult moments, when I look back, were the times when I grew the most. In those moments, I didn't understand why these things were happening, but as time passed, I realized God was leading me to deeper places.
"Gratitude" is the power to accept the present.
For good things, we give thanks with joy
For difficult things, we give thanks with the hope that "this too shall pass"
Gratitude frees our hearts from resentment and complaints. ✨
🛤️ "I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life"
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6)
When you first hear this, it might sound a bit exclusive. "It has to be through Jesus?"
But let's think about it differently.
Jesus wasn't talking about "me as a religious organization" but rather "my way of life."
🗺️ The Meaning of Way, Truth, and Life
Way (道): The path of love and sacrifice that Jesus walked
Truth: A genuine life without falsehood and pretense
Life: Eternal life that sees beyond death
Jesus is not a theory but someone who showed us through His life.
He ate with the poor, the sick, and those called sinners. He pointed out the hypocrisy of the powerful. And ultimately, He carried the cross for us.
"Except through me" means "without this path of love, you cannot truly meet God."
💫 When These Three Words Connect
Now do you see how these three connect?
Following the path Jesus showed us (the way, truth, and life)
Loving one another (the new commandment)
Living with gratitude in every moment (thanksgiving)
This is the life of a Christian. 🌟
💌 What I Want to Tell You
Dear friends,
I hope these words become wings that set you free, not heavy burdens that oppress you.
Love is not a duty but a gift
Gratitude is not forced but a power that opens our eyes
Jesus' path is not narrow rules but a wide embrace
Start with small things today:
✨ One kind word to one person
✨ One "thank you" for something small
✨ Ask just once: "What would Jesus have done?"
You are already precious and beloved. 💙
God doesn't wait for you to become perfect. He loves you just as you are right now and is walking with you.
"We love because he first loved us" (1 John 4:19)
