따르는 것의 의미를 다시 묻다
사랑하는 형제 자매 여러분, "따른다"는 것은 무엇을 의미할까요? 우리는 오늘 이 질문 앞에 함께 서 있습니다.
1. 순종에서 순명으로: 사랑이 만드는 차이
두 개의 길
**순종(順從)**은 윗사람이나 권위에 복종하는 행위입니다. 하지만 신앙인의 삶은 여기서 멈추지 않습니다.
**순명(順命)**은 하느님을 향한 뜨거운 사랑으로 자신의 의지를 완전히 그분께 맡기고 따르는, 더 깊고 영적인 응답입니다.
맹목이 아닌 사랑
순명은 맹목적인 복종이 아닙니다.
누군가 시켜서 하는 신앙이 아니라
내 스스로 지켜나가는 신앙입니다
기도 안에서 늘 진리에 깨어 있는 삶입니다
교회의 가르침을 수동적으로 받아들이기만 할 것이 아니라, 하느님께 매달리고 그분 안에서 길을 찾을 때, 주님께서는 우리 각자에게 가야 할 길을 분명히 알려주실 것입니다.
2. 권위가 아닌 사랑에 복종하십시오
진짜 복종의 대상
우리가 복종해야 할 대상은 한 개인의 권위나 독단적인 결정이 아닙니다.
우리는 오직 '사랑'에 복종해야 합니다.
함께 찾는 진리
교회 공동체 안에서
서로 의견을 나누고
치열하게 진리를 찾기 위해 함께 기도할 때
우리는 신앙의 참된 의미를 발견할 수 있습니다.
위험한 유혹
특히 경계해야 할 것이 있습니다. 하느님의 말씀을 자신의 입맛대로 해석하여 형제 자매를 판단하고 평가하는 도구로 쓰는 것입니다.
하느님은 사랑 그 자체이십니다.
사랑이 없으면 하느님도 없고, 우리의 믿음 또한 빈 껍데기에 불과합니다.
3. 사랑은 나로부터 시작됩니다
자신을 사랑하지 못하는 사람
나 자신을 사랑하지 못하는 사람이 어떻게 가족과 이웃을 진심으로 사랑할 수 있겠습니까?
두 가지 삶의 방식
하느님의 사랑을 체험하며 사는 사람:
마음에 늘 감사가 흐릅니다
시련이 닥칠 때 가장 먼저 하느님을 찾습니다
삶 속에서 평안을 발견합니다
그 사랑을 느끼지 못하는 사람:
결코 만족하지 못합니다
어려움이 오면 하느님만 빼고 세상의 다른 것들을 찾아 헤맵니다
마음은 혼돈과 불안 속에 갇힙니다
진리의 길을 잃어버린 채 슬픔 속에 머물게 됩니다
4. 행복은 지금 이 순간에만 존재합니다
우리가 사는 이유
우리는 왜 하루를 살아갑니까?
바로 행복하기 위해서입니다.
그렇다면 그 행복은 언제 찾아올까요?
진행형의 삶
여러분, 기억하십시오.
행복은 오직 '지금 이 순간'에만 존재합니다.
하느님의 사랑은 과거형이나 미래형이 아닙니다
늘 '현재 진행형'입니다
우리의 행복과 사랑도 지금 이 순간의 진행형이어야 합니다
유예된 행복의 슬픔
오늘 행복하지 못한 사람은 평생 과거를 그리워하거나 오지 않은 미래를 기다리며 행복을 유예하며 살게 됩니다.
5. 행복도 습관처럼 자랍니다
거창하지 않은 행복
행복은 거창한 것이 아닙니다.
지금 이 순간 행복하기 위해 노력하고
기도 안에서 그 기쁨을 느껴보십시오
행복도 습관처럼 반복해서 느낄 때 점점 더 커져가는 법입니다
오늘, 지금, 여기서
행복의 선택
오늘 하루, 나를 사랑하시는 하느님의 손길을 느끼며 지금 당장 행복해지기로 선택합시다.
진행형의 기도
하느님의 사랑 안에서 여러분 모두가 진행형의 행복을 누리시길 기도합니다.
"행복은 지금 이 순간, 사랑의 순명 안에서 완성됩니다."

Questioning the Meaning of Following Anew
Dear brothers and sisters, what does it mean "to follow"? Today, we stand together before this question.
1. From Compliance to Obedience: The Difference Love Makes
Two Paths
Compliance (順從, sun-jong) is the act of submitting to superiors or authority. However, the life of faith does not stop here.
Obedience (順命, sun-myeong) is a deeper, more spiritual response—willingly surrendering one's will completely to God out of burning love for Him.
Love, Not Blindness
Obedience is not blind submission.
It is not faith practiced because someone told us to
It is faith we keep on our own
It is a life constantly awake to truth in prayer
Rather than passively receiving the Church's teachings, we must always remain alert to the truth in prayer. When we cling to God and seek our path within Him, the Lord will clearly show each of us the way we must go.
2. Submit to Love, Not Authority
The True Object of Obedience
The object of our obedience is not an individual's authority or arbitrary decisions.
We must obey only 'love'.
Truth Found Together
Within the Church community, when we
Share opinions with one another
Pray together to earnestly seek the truth
We can discover the true meaning of faith.
A Dangerous Temptation
There is something we must particularly guard against: interpreting God's Word according to our own preferences and using it as a tool to judge and evaluate our brothers and sisters.
God is love itself.
Without love, there is no God, and our faith is nothing but an empty shell.
3. Love Begins With 'Me.'
Those Who Cannot Love Themselves
How can someone who cannot love themselves truly love their family and neighbors?
Two Ways of Living
Those who live experiencing God's love:
Gratitude always flows in their hearts
When trials come, they seek God first
They find peace in life
Those who do not feel that love:
Are never satisfied
When difficulties come, they search everywhere except for God
Their hearts are trapped in chaos and anxiety
They remain in sorrow, having lost the path of truth
4. Happiness Exists Only in This Present Moment
Why We Live
Why do we live each day?
To be happy.
Then, when does that happiness arrive?
A Life in Progress
Remember this, everyone.
Happiness exists only in 'this present moment'.
God's love is not in the past or future tense
It is always in the 'present progressive.'
Our happiness and love must also be in the present progressive of this moment
The Sadness of Postponed Happiness
Those who cannot be happy today spend their lives yearning for the past or waiting for a future that never comes, postponing happiness indefinitely.
5. Happiness Also Grows Like a Habit
Happiness That Is Not Grand
Happiness is not something grand.
Make an effort to be happy in this present moment
Feel that joy in prayer
When you repeatedly feel happiness like a habit, it gradually grows larger

The Choice of Happiness
Today, let us choose to be happy right now, feeling the touch of God who loves us.
A Prayer in Progress
I pray that all of you may enjoy happiness in the present, in God's love.
